The MallardAlarm is an Internet of Things (IoT) device that connects to your home WiFi that will notify you via email message if any of the following conditions occur:
1. The Water Level in Your Sump Basin is High;
2. There is a Power Outage, or the Internet is Down at Your Home.
The MallardAlarm also sounds a loud siren if a high water condition occurs in your sump
basin.
The MallardAlarm connects to your existing WiFi Network and sends data to our server every minute. If a high water condition exists in your sump basin because your sump pump is broken it will set off an audible alarm and will notify the server. The server will then send you an email message notifying you about the problem.
The server will also send an email message when the power is out at your home or the internet is down because the alarm is unable to send data to the server. If the power is off at your home, it may cause a high water condition because your sump pump will be unable to pump water out of your sump basin. This could lead to basement flooding if the condition is not corrected.
You will also have access to your personal control panel that will allow you to watch your alarm in action, and enable you to remotely monitor whether the high water condition or power outage or internet outage has been corrected.
